Information We Collect

We collect the information you choose to provide through Velocity NWA forms, including your name, email address, phone number, organization, topic, and message.

When you request an Active Commuter Academy certificate, we collect your name, email address, completion confirmation, certificate issuance information, delivery status, and the certificate PDF needed to send, verify, or reissue that certificate.

Our website and service providers may also process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as request, device, and security information.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, administer Ride to Work Wednesdays and other programs, issue and verify Active Commuter Academy certificates, provide support, protect the site from misuse, and meet legal or operational obligations.

We do not use a form submission as permission to add someone to marketing messages. Marketing communications require a separate choice from the person receiving them.

When We Share Information

Velocity NWA does not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us host and secure the site or deliver email, including Cloudflare, Resend, and our business email provider, and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect people, rights, or property.

Our site may link to or display services operated by other organizations, including social-media services. Those organizations control their own privacy practices.

Retention

We retain inquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, maintain an ongoing business relationship, protect the service, or meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations.

We retain Active Commuter Academy certificate records and certificate PDFs for as long as they are reasonably needed to verify or reissue a certificate and meet program or compliance obligations.

Your Choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Some records may need to be retained where required for certificate verification, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Children's Information

Velocity NWA's website and programs are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the request.
